About Our Client

My client is a well established local business. They provide both commercial and domestic services.

They are looking at getting someone in asap to manage the payroll of 500 staff and assist with the accounts payable and sales ledger.

Job Description

The role will involve:

  • Processing monthly Payroll 500+ employees, Sage 50 payroll
  • Full Processing of: Year End, P45's, SMP, SSP, SPP, CIS, Pensions. EPS, FPS
  • Liaising with HMRC with regards to tax queries
  • Preparing Payroll Reports/liaising with accountant on monthly basis
  • Sage Accounts, processing purchase orders. Invoicing
  • Extensive use of Excel for; Holiday Processing, Wages, Tables, Formulas, Macros, Basic use of Visual Basics
  • Extensive use of Word for; Employee references, Employment Letters, Client Letters and all communications with regards to employment
  • Processing invoices - Accounts Payable
  • Raising Sales invoices
  • Dealing with queries

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Payroll/ accounts knowledge and experience
  • Sage Experience - Ideal not essential
