About Our Client

Our client, an accountancy firm based in Cardiff are looking for an immediately available PA to join their expanding team.

Job Description

The main duties of the PA will include, but are not limited to:-

  • Providing support to the Chief Executive Officer and/or other members of the Executive Management team.

  • To provide high standards of support to the EMT members ensuring that all necessary arrangements and relevant documentation are well prepared and available ahead of meetings

  • To comprehensively and insightfully manage the diaries of the CEO/EMT members, coordinating internal and external meetings with due attention to individual preferences and requirements

  • To arrange complex travel and accommodation logistics as required, ensuring clear communication and timely confirmation of travel itineraries

  • To design, produce and collate quality documents in MS Office for review as needed, in order to provide effective support and assistance for ad hoc initiatives

  • To manage expense claims and the completion of credit card statements in a timely manner

  • To deal with correspondence efficiently, drafting letters and emails as needed, and proactively dealing with all administrative duties such as photocopying, binding and filing

  • To proactively identify ways in which the management team can work more efficiently, agreeing and implementing appropriate systems accordingly

  • Assist with the logistics and arrangements for meetings, including personal attendance and support at the meeting

  • Arranging conference calls, diary issues and ad hoc requests

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the PA role will posses the following:-

  • Prior experience as a PA working with Executive level stakeholders, ideally within a professional services environment

  • Highly literate and articulate, with excellent communication skills and ability to adapt communication style for all stakeholders including Board members

  • Strong attention to detail, with a drive for continuous improvements

  • Approachable, professional and able to build relationships quickly and effectively at all levels

  • Proactive, self-motivated and driven to provide an excellent PA service with minimal supervision

  • Discreet, diplomatic and able to handle sensitive information in complete confidence

  • Has a positive attitude with a high degree of flexibility

  • Highly adaptable and responsive to change

  • Proficient in MS office
