About Our Client

Our client is based within the finance sector and is a successful Chinese investment bank with global offices. Their London office is based in the heart of the City and are looking for an someone to run their office consisting of 40 people.

Job Description

Office Manager Responsibilities for this finance company :

Set up tenancy agreements, liaise with agent/landlord, open utility accounts, parking permits etc

Renew office/ cleaning maintenance contracts

Stay on top of office maintenance

Manage all office facilities including maintenance related issues

Manage health and safety including logging weekly fire alarm testing, check fire extinguishers and their tags

Establish the following policies relating to the HQ's relevant policy abiding by relevant laws/ regulations: Vehicle Management, Company Asset's Management and Security Management

Manage, enhance, create templates to monitor and establish supervision to manage each of the procedures above

Promote the security management policy and develop its plans in relation to building management views paying attention to robbery theft, anti-robbery, fire prevention, anti-phishing and anti-security

Draft management report related to the above in both Chinese and English for HQ's

The Successful Applicant

The Office Manager candidate for this finance company must be fluent in Chinese at business level. They must have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent of and it would be desirable to have a Master's degree in business management. The candidate have good MS skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin and a UK Valid Driving License.

What's on Offer

This finance company are paying an annual salary of £28k plus discretionary bonus (approximately £7-9k), £100 travel allowance, £10 per day allowance for lunch, 5% pension contribution, private medical and life assurance, £1000 vouchers for supermarket or restaurant annually and 25 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday.
