About Our Client

Our client is a large global organisation based in Guildford. They are looking for a permanent member of staff offering a great salary along with a superb benefits package.

Job Description

  • Assist in raising PO's for the whole marketing team and input invoices. Liaise with accounts payable to set up new vendors and manage workflow issues through SAP. Deal with PO issues and queries.
  • Receive and distribute daily post
  • General admin, including scanning documents, photocopying, room bookings, budget review folders, diary management and notice board updates
  • Manage team stationery & supplies requirements
  • Product store management - i.e, ensuring NPD is in on time & available for accounts and we have current packs available in the building
  • Sample requests of competitor or own product requisitions to division or other CP subs
  • Update product pack shots and download onto the main resource site and Brandbank
  • Ad hoc marketing projects as requested (eg Bazaarvoice hamper competition support)
  • Assist in the SKU creation process - specifically management of the MDGM database
  • Manage and distribute the marketing calendar
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for all marketing team & OCCs when required
  • Coordinate meeting logistics for major marketing meetings
  • Co-ordinate logistics for sales meetings throughout the year
  • Organise induction process (eg PC/Notes set-up, database registration, organise meetings with key stakeholders, organise buddy where needed) for new starters

The Successful Applicant

The candidate needs to be able to juggle a busy and varied workload supporting a number of people within the Marketing Department. You will need to be able to communicate at all levels effectively and have an approachable, caring nature along with the right amount of resilience too.

  • Strong administrative skills are essential
  • Highly organised with the ability to deal with conflicting priorities
  • Optimistic, flexible and confident approach to work
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
