About Our Client

My client is a privately owned company that is looking to expand the finance team.

Job Description

  • Preparation of management accounts, variance analysis and commentary
  • Daily management of bank accounts and cash requirements
  • Management of ledgers for 5 subsidiaries
  • Bank reconciliations of 10 bank accounts
  • Fixed assets, booking and depreciation
  • Credit card and petty cash reconciliations
  • Coding invoices and control of sales and purchase ledger
  • Prepare supplier payment runs
  • Month end process - journals, accruals, prepayments
  • Prepare balance sheet and control account reconciliations
  • Preparation of quarterly schedules
  • Reconciliation of inter-company balances and inter-company recharges
  • Preparation of annual budgets and re-forecasting, including detailed village budgets in conjunction with FC/ COO
  • Prepare VAT returns for submission
  • Update weekly cash flow forecast
  • Payroll preparation, processing and payments (140 salaried and hourly staff)
  • Assisting with year-end: preparing of company's statutory accounts, audit files and dealing with auditor's queries
  • Assist with Tax packs and statutory Tax Packs

The Successful Applicant

  • Part qualified in ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA
  • Excel - Pivot tables & V look ups
  • Commercial
  • Good communication skills
