About Our Client

A growing SME consumer services business based in Slough

Job Description

Monitor and ensure that key tasks are completed by the team in an accurate and timely manner to ensure smooth running of the finance department

Ensure all of the finance team are proficiently trained in all processes and procedures

Management of 2 direct reports

Ensure timely completion of the monthly management accounts

Daily cash flow monitoring and cash flow re-forecasting

Quarterly VAT returns

Reporting on monthly divisional performance and identifying risks and opportunities

Liaising with the bank, auditors and key stakeholders

Maintain integrity of balance sheet

Balance sheet reconciliations

Preparation of audit pack and collation of audit files

Management and co-ordination of the purchase ledger function

Ensure and check payments runs are in accordance with agreed monthly timetables

Ensure key controls are operating as planned. Identifying deficiencies and recommending solutions

Ad-hoc financial reporting to CEO

The Successful Applicant

Excellent communication skills

team management background

Previously prepared key balance sheets and management accounts

Qualified by experience or studying CIMA or ACCA

Advanced Excel
