Job Description

The Management Accountant role will work alongside the Business Managers and advise on all aspects of client accounting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who will be keen to build a successful career and work for a global brand who have been recognised for their work through multiple awards.

Client reconciliations:

  • Production of allocated client reconciliations on a monthly basis ensuring accuracy and deadlines achieved
  • Processing of reconciliation amendments, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines

Sales invoicing:

  • Raising/sign off of all draft invoices
  • Ensuring invoices raised on all accounts in line with client terms and conditions
  • Ensuring invoicing logs up to date
  • Assist in credit control queries to ensure prompt resolution.

Budgeting / Forecasting:

  • Preparation of new and existing client budgets with inputs from Business Managers
  • Preparation of quarterly re-forecasts
  • Load re-forecasts into company systems
  • Group reporting

Month end process:

  • Production of allocated management accounts ensuring accuracy and deadlines achieved

The Successful Applicant

The Management Accountant will need to be:

  • Tenacious, resilient, passionate & ambitious.
  • You will be AAT/CIMA/ACCA part/fully qualified or studying towards.
  • Ability to multi task managing several projects at one time
  • You will have proven and effective senior level client handling and influencing skills
  • Using initiative to deal with any challenges you face and manage client expectations
  • Excellent planning and organising
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality when working to tight deadlines
  • Prioritise and manage changing workloads
  • Adaptable and ability to respond well to change and pressure

What's on Offer

The successful Management Accountant could expect to receive:

  • Salary from £25,000 - £30,000 negotiable dependent on experience
  • Deferred salary bonus 5.25% - Dependent on company performance
  • 26 Days holiday rising to 31 with service
