Job Description

Reporting into the Distribution Manager you will be responsible for :

  • Managing a small team of operatives
  • Ensure customer orders are picked and packed in a timely fashion
  • Liaise with production to ensure the correct movement of goods at the correct times,
  • Ensure high levels of customer service
  • Liaise with sub-contractors
  • Manage KPIS
  • Manage and develop the team

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for the role you must :

  • Have previous experience of managing a team in a fast moving distribution environment
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety - preferably IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications
  • SAP Experience
  • Strong Management skills with the ability to lead from the front when needed
  • Comfortable presenting information to senior levels within the business
  • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office

What's on Offer

The successful candidate will be offered a salary of up to £26,000 dependent upon experience.
