This well established professional services business have positioned themselves at the forefront of their market as a result of the high professional standards of services they provide to their clients. An exciting new position has now arisen for a Legal Cashier Clerk to join the finance function of this successful business based in Leeds city centre.

Job Description

The successful Legal Cashier will be responsible for, but not limited to: processing financial transactions for office and client accounts, inputting of invoices, daily banking of cheques, processing payments via cheques, BACS, CHAPS and credit card, setting up deposit accounts, online banking, dealing with queries, liaising with internal colleagues and external suppliers/contacts to resolve queries, obtain authorisations and maintain accurate accounting records.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous experience within an accounts assistant role - Essential
  • Previous experience within the legal sector - Desirable
  • Excellent communication skills - Essential
  • Good MS Excel skills - Essential
