My client is a reputable Financial Services firm with head offices located in the City of London.

Job Description

The Leasing Officer is a support role within the Leasing Team, assisting with the ongoing management and administration of the Lease portfolio. Day to day activities include supporting the in life management of leases, supporting the origination team in the completion of new transactions.

Support new business activities

  • Preparation of transaction cashflows
  • Assisting in the collation of new business documentation
  • Inputting transactions into the lease administration system
  • Ensuring transaction documentation is correctly scanned and archived
  • Obtaining appropriate sign offs, deal input
  • Responding to customer/broker queries
  • Providing general support to the origination team

Support in life deal activities

  • Preparing Settlement quotes
  • Preparing analysis of Settlement
  • Processing settlement via the lease administration system
  • Preparing all appropriate settlement invoicing
  • Preparing all appropriate settlement documentation
  • Updating of transactions on the lease administration system

Support end of lease activities

  • Preparing and processing end of term documentation
  • Liaising with origination team

Leasing data administration

  • Detailed recording of deals information
  • Monitoring of deal information data for accuracy and completeness
  • On-going maintenance of deal information data to reflect in life changes
  • Preparing and running reports on the underlying Leasing data

Lease administration

  • Storage and filing of lease documentation, Counterparty monitoring, Compliance checks, process and procedures, Maintenance and monitoring of facilities

Liaising with the other teams regarding Leasing transactions

  • Including Operations, Finance, Credit, Legal, Compliance

The Successful Applicant

Desirable applicants will:

  • Be educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Have previous exposure to a Financial Institutions
  • Be highly numerate
  • Be a proficient user of MS Office packages including MS Excel
  • Have excellent interpersonal communication skills, written and spoken

What's on Offer

Remuneration will include a basic salary between £25,000 - £35,000 and an excellent additional benefits package.
