About Our Client

My client are an automotive business based in the South Yorkshire area.

Job Description

  • Ensure accurate and efficient operation of Goods Inwards and Good Outwards.
  • Ensure high quality packaging and packing of deliveries.
  • Work positively with assurance staff to ensure continuous quality improvement, effective quality audit and resolve customer complaints and queries.
  • Participate in process checks / audits in line with Company quality management standards and processes.
  • To undertake or arrange risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures in line with Health and Safety Legislation and rail industry requirements.
  • Contribute to staff training for the company as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 2 years previous experience of warehouse operations.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • A strong Health and Safety, Environment and Risk Management approach.
  • Be a self- starter in order to achieve tasks and overcome problems.
  • Focus and drive to achieve targets, budgets and results.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement.
  • FLT Counterbalance and Bendi certification (or willing to achieve this within 6 months)
  • Manual handling certificate (or willing to achieve this within 3 months)

What's on Offer

A salary of between £25,000 and £27,000 (depending on experience)

33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
