Job Description

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Officer's duties will include:

  • Act as a first point of contact advising all managers and staff on all HR Operational issues
  • Supporting the HR Business Partner by advising on first stage formal cases, taking notes at formal meetings and supporting investigations
  • Provide monthly payroll data for the Payroll and Pensions Manager
  • Carry out project work and assist in the implementation of the HR policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

The successful HR Officer will have a good understanding of Employment Law and have worked in a similar role previously.

Previous examples of implementing HR policies and procedures are preferred.

You will need to someone who is flexible and willing to take on other duties as required. Ideally you will be actively studying towards your CIPD qualification.

A background within Education and Training would be beneficial.
