Job Description

The ideal HR Manager will be responsible for:

  • To ensure that all policies and procedures are reviewed and updated regularly.
  • Managing company benefits including awards and rewards.
  • Management of HR personnel including recruitment and selection.
  • Maintaining and updating the Company Handbook.
  • Ensuring the monthly payroll is prepared and processed to tight deadlines.
  • Coaching and supporting employees and managers with learning and development, identify training needs to ensure employees have the relevant skills to do their job.
  • Managing disciplinary and grievance meetings, using company policy and best practice principles to deal with challenging issues.

The Successful Applicant

This ideal HR Manager will have:

  • CIPD Accredited
  • Experience of working in a generalist Human Resources and Personnel environment
  • Knowledge of Employment Law, Data Protection, Equality and Diversity
  • Experience in development of policies and processes
  • Previous payroll experience
  • First class communication skills
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Able to work accurately with good attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to change

What's on Offer

The salary is £30,000 plus company car or car allowance.
