My client are a leading FMCG brand, based in St. Albans.

Job Description

The role of HR Data & Rewards Analyst will include the following key duties:

Key Accountabilities

  • To provide accurate and timely management information and analysis in order to aid decision making
  • To develop meaningful reports to assist the HRD / Senior HR team with the management of human resources (e.g.: headcount / payroll / talent processes / PDR calibration / exit and on-boarding surveys)
  • To carry out salary modelling and benchmarking to ensure that the organisation's Total Reward package is market competitive and reflects current Reward trends
  • To provide data for insurer for risk benefits (Group Life Insurance, Private Medical Insurance and PHI)
  • To coach HR colleagues and share knowledge to enhance understanding of the HR systems and reports
  • To produce standardised HR KPIs on a regular basis
  • To raise the profile of equality and diversity by producing relevant data, ensuring compliance, monitoring progress and therefore supporting the Company's vision to become a best practice employer.
  • To carry out relevant pension and benefits administration

Key Responsibilities

  • To support the Heads of HR in evaluating new and existing roles for pay and grading
  • To prepare data, scenario calculations, communication production relevant to annual review
  • To support with the review and design of variable pay mechanisms such as bonus and other incentive / rewards schemes
  • To complete the returns for the Office of National Statistics
  • To support the validity and integrity of the SAP and Success Factors Systems by carrying out key user acceptance testing on enhancements
  • To carry out system upgrade testing, identifying, reporting and where necessary escalating faults to Business Support Team Manager
  • To attend meetings on an ad-hoc basis on behalf of HR to help the continuous improvement of systems
  • To own elements of HR project work that support personal development as well as help the function achieve overall objectives
  • To support the resourcing team with analysis and reporting of monthly permanent and interim statistics
  • To reconcile data between the Company and insurer's to enable accurate premium calculations

The Successful Applicant

Preferred Knowledge/Qualifications of the HR Data & Rewards Analyst:


  • Graduate Calibre
  • Strong IT skills, advanced MS Office skills in particular well developed Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail with an analytical mind
  • Team Player with a flexible attitude
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • A real desire to work in a busy HR team


  • Working knowledge of SAP or other HR systems
  • Working knowledge of Success Factors
  • Previous exposure within an HR function
  • Pensions administrative exposure
