About Our Client

The client is a public sector organisation in Wakefield looking to recruit a HR Business Partner.

Job Description

As a HR Business Partner your duties will include however not be limited to;

  • Providing effective professional human resources advice, influence, information and support to senior management
  • Assessing the effectiveness of HR policies and procedures
  • Coaching, supporting and challenging managers in their application of HR policies
  • Contributing to effective change management solutions
  • Providing senior management with KPI reports as well as statistical analysis
  • Supporting senior management in employee relations casework (including disciplinary, capability and performance management issues) on a day to day basis, attending formal and informal meetings as required
  • Assisting the HR Manager with Employment Tribunal cases as required

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous working knowledge as a HR Generalist at Advisor / Business Partner level - essential
  • Have previous working knowledge of policy / process improvement - essential
  • Have previous working knowledge of the care sector or safeguarding principles - desirable
  • Be CIPD Qualified - essential
  • Have excellent communication skills - essential
