Professional Manufacturing Organisation based within the West Midlands.

Job Description

The HR Assistant will be responsible for Organising, arranging, conducting and making decisions on HR meetings which will include conducting disciplinary, grievance / appeal meetings as well as note taking. Ensuring new existing employee records are processed including, updating employee records. Creating contract, dealing with new starters and leavers, maternity, risk assessments. As the HR Assistant you will also be able to work on HR projects independently and with other team members

The Successful Applicant

The ideal HR Assistant will have:

  • Experience in note taking for grievance and disciplinary appeal / meetings
  • Knowledge of HR employment law
  • Qualifications in HR / training
  • Exposure in Human Resources and Personnel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to undertake HR projects independently or with a team
  • Competent in Microsoft packages
