About Our Client

The client is a public sector organisation looking to recruit a HR Advisor in Wakefield.

Job Description

As a HR Advisor your duties will include however not be limited to;

  • Advising and support line managers on a wide variety of employee relations matters
  • High volumes of complex casework
  • Involvement in a variety of HR projects including managing timescales, project implementation etc.
  • Leading on disciplinaries and grievances as well as involvement in absence and performance management

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous working knowledge as a HR Advisor - generalist - essential
  • Have previous working knowledge within the public sector - desirable
  • Have previous working knowledge of project management - essential
  • Have excellent communications skills - essential
  • Be immediately available - essential
