About Our Client

Our client are an established large organisation in the area who are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their department immediately.

Job Description

The main duties of this role will include:

* Providing advisory support and guidance to managers on a variety of generalist HR issues, including disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence
* Supporting the recruitment process from writing job adverts, screening candidates, arranging interviews and managing offers through to acceptance
* Co-ordinating the new starter process and managing HR administration for the full employee life cycle
* Regularly updating the HR system, intranet and personnel files
* Monitoring absence and co-ordinating absence review meetings
* Maintaining accurate training records and co-ordinating training courses
* Creation of weekly, monthly and annual reports as required
* Arranging internal and external meetings and taking meeting notes
* Acting as a point of contact for general enquiries and information requests
* Supporting ad hoc HR projects

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this HR Advisor role you will need to have the following:

  • CIPD qualified or studying towards
  • Previous experience working as an HR Advisor
  • Experience in managing Employee Relations casework (disciplinary, grievance, capability)
  • Good knowledge of employment law

What's on Offer

This position is looking to start immediately - call candidates must be able to commit to a minimum three month contract as this role is on an on-going basis.
