About Our Client

This is an immediately start permanent job opportunity working for a membership association. As well setting the standards of practice within engineering field they also offer academic support to relevant engineers. In addition they also offer union support to its members.

Job Description

Working as a HR Administrator you'll be reporting to the HR Manager, and responsible for;

  • Completing and reviewing job descriptions and adverts
  • Arranging interviews
  • Producing offer letters and contracts
  • Setting up new starters on payroll and updating monthly changes
  • Updating L&D training lists
  • Producing monthly MI reports and sickness absence management reports
  • Delivering induction
  • Updating probation paper work
  • Completing exit interviews
  • Deal with day to queries around policy's and procedures

The Successful Applicant

Applicants for the position of HR Administrator must;

  • Have experience in a similar generalist role
  • Be studying towards relevant qualifications including CIPD
  • Be a competent user Excel of including manipulating data
  • Ideally have worked in a public sector organisation
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with managers at different levels
  • Be able to demonstrate effective time management and the ability to work towards tight deadlines
