Job Description

  • Responsible for depot management of warehouse & transport operations a flagship site within the UK distribution network.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships with some high profile clients on closed book contracts.
  • Process implementation and analysis of business model, with intention of streamlining processes.
  • Budget responsibility for circa £6+ million.
  • Strong Continuous Improvement and "Cost Down" focus, through lean Six Sigma/ Kaizen practices.
  • Management of multi skilled workforce in both functions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong and demonstrable experience of Warehouse operations management and Transport management.
  • CPC National or International is essential.
  • Strong customer relationship and customer service focus.
  • Experience of managing budgets £5 million or above.
  • Able to drive accountability and deliver results through your teams.
  • Change Management experience.
