Their team of 181 people from 4 European Offices works with around 150 clients and provides administration and depositary oversight to $102 billion assets for 262 funds. They work with some of the top European Private Equity managers. Their turnover in 2014 was more than £20 million.

Job Description

The successful candidate for the Fund Accountant position will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Producing management, interim and audited accounts
  • Controlling and monitoring the bookkeeping process and taking ownership of the ledgers
  • Preparing carried interest and other calculations in accordance with the fund documentation
  • Calculating and monitoring capital adequacy of licensed entities in accordance with regulations
  • Carrying out all aspects of accounting for clients including ad hoc queries
  • Carrying out planning of annual audits and liaising with clients to establish timetables for the receipt of valuations and advisers reports and other relevant information
  • Liaising with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Fund Accountant position should have:

  • Recent and proven experience in a similar role within a Private Equity environment
  • Strong knowledge of Private Equity
  • Part qualified or finalist level ACCA/CIMA/ACA
