Job Description

The Financial Controller role involves:

  • Forecasting, budgeting and cash flow
  • Management accounts on a monthly basis & preparation of their statutory accounts and yearly Companies House Filing online.
  • Liaise with the Company Accountant on taxation matters.
  • Quarterly VAT returns using Sage Accounts
  • Preparing of monthly loss and gains sheet on all projects.
  • Managing the Fixed asset register and lease commitment.
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Sales ledger & credit control
  • Purchase ledger
  • Payroll information & journals.
  • Management of referral fees
  • Sales invoicing.
  • Pricing of proposals.
  • Other ad hoc duties.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the Financial Controller role will;

  • have worked in a similar role previously
  • ideally be part qualified CIMA/ACCA, or fully qualified AAT
  • live locally to Cobham and be a driver (as difficult to get to the offices via public transport)
  • have management Accounts experience
