About Our Client

My client is a well established Construction & Property business, with premises based in Bellshill.

Job Description

The successful Financial Controller will have the following responsibilities:

  • Production of monthly flash reports and management accounts
  • Production of monthly sales, margin and cost reports and analyses
  • Balance sheet reconciliation, analysis and control
  • KPI Reporting and Variance Analysis
  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts and group consolidation
  • Management of the annual audit process
  • Co-ordination of the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting
  • Review of VAT Returns
  • Review of payment runs
  • Payroll
  • Risk management and implementation of improvements to financial control and procedures
  • Ad hoc project support

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CA/ACCA) and will preferably have a strong background in audit.
