Our client a highly successful International Business based in Woking, Surrey are currently recruiting for a Finance Systems Analyst / Administrator

Job Description

As a Finance Systems Analyst / Administrator based from the Woking, Surrey office you will be responsible for:

Whilst working as part of the Finance team the successful candidate will work with a variety of people on a daily basis using problem solving and communication skills to support the Finance function. During a period of transformation for the Finance department, there will be significant opportunities to expand knowledge and skills as the company grows both domestically and internationally.

Candidates for this role will have a technical background and a keen numerical interest. Any experience associated with a recognised accountancy qualification would be desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will have opportunities to work with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics Nav as well as develop their problem solving skills through the maintenance and development of the Finance team's bespoke systems and analysis tools.


  • System administration of Navision application. Day to day administration, troubleshooting, standing data management and user management. Also, to ensure adequate controls and procedures are in place where necessary
  • System administration of Cognos applications. As above
  • System administration of Purchase Order Requisition System (PORS). As above
  • System administration of Master Data Services for data warehouse and BI solution
  • Maintaining a change management process for the finance systems and ensuring integrity of finance data
  • Maintaining and improving data management processes for finance related systems
  • Manage finance system upgrades in liaison with other teams
  • Business support. Act as a liaison between Finance, IT and other departments for implementing new systems
  • Project support for system development
  • Project management for Finance systems development
  • Implementation of Finance systems internationally and to provide ongoing systems support
  • Advise and assist on systems related process improvements within Finance

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience of system administration is essential
  • Technical skills should be high (particularly using Microsoft Excel 2013)
  • Experience & understanding of ERP and/or Business Information Systems desirable. Any experience with Navision or Cognos advantageous
  • Experience in a project or process change capacity would be beneficial
  • Clear communication skills with a good technical and financial grounding are essential
  • Recognised accountancy qualification preferable but not essential
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in a consumer facing, multi-site business
