Job Description

As Finance Manager you will report to the Finance Director and be responsible for overseeing the whole finance function of this £20m turnover business. Key duties include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and group reporting
  • Assisting the FD with budget preparation and monthly forecasts
  • Variance analysis and commentaries
  • Preparing management and board packs with monthly presentations
  • Balance sheet management and all reconciliations
  • KPI reporting and MI analysis
  • Supporting the year end process and liaising with auditors
  • Completing all VAT returns, national statistics

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for the successful applicant to have the following:

  • Part qualified CIMA / ACCA
  • Strong management accounting experience
  • Supervisory experience would be advantageous
  • Advanced Excel
  • Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Able to demonstrate an aptitude for process improvement
