Job Description

  • Monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Journals
  • Prepayments and accruals
  • Closing down sales, purchase, cash and nominal ledgers in SAGE
  • Payroll
  • VAT returns
  • Maintaining the company holiday sheet
  • Budgets and forecasts
  • Analytical review
  • Ad hoc work
  • Cover for the team in any absences- this could be PL, SL, or Head of Finance


  • Sage 1000
  • Sage payroll
  • Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook

The Successful Applicant

  • AAT Qualified, CIMA/ACCA Studier, Qualified by Experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excel level intermediate
  • Ability to work to and meet deadlines
