About Our Client

A well known Not for Profit organisation are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to their Finance team. They are based in central Leeds and offer a range of excellent benefits. They are highly regarded and are known to be an excellent employer.

Job Description

You will report into the Finance Manager and play an important part within the Finance team.

As a Finance Assistant duties may include but are not limited to,processing invoices, authorising payments, paying invoices, raising payments, reconciliations, raising invoices, raising credit notes, sorting aged debt, BACs orders, maintaining the cash book, managing the petty cash account, reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, dealing with any queries and other ad hoc duties.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • be immediately available or on a weeks notice ESSENTIAL
  • have worked in a similar position ESSENTIAL
  • have processed invoices and completed reconciliations ESSENTIAL
  • have used Sage DESIRABLE
