About Our Client

Our client is a growing business looking to add a Finance Assistant to their Accountancy team in Horsham

Job Description

  • Enter all purchase invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Help manage any supplier account queries
  • Help prepare a month-end supplier payment schedule
  • Posting authorised employee expenses
  • Posting Director credit card expenses
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts (both AR & AP)
  • Enter all new suppliers
  • Ensure filing within the department is up-to-date
  • Provide information from the accounting records to management as required.
  • Provide cover for other accounting functions in the event of absence of other staff members.
  • Make recommendations for improvement as required.
  • Review financial procedure as required.
  • Assist with month-end & audit procedure

The Successful Applicant

  • Knowledge of AR, AP, and reconciliations
  • Excel / Word Microsoft skills
  • Accounting qualification desirable not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent Time Management
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Good Team Player
