About Our Client

My client is a well-known organisation based in Rushden, who due to rapid growth within the business are looking to expand their Finance Team by bringing in a Finance Assistant

Job Description

  • Post purchase ledger invoices invoices/Credit notes onto the system
  • Reconcile supplier statements to purchase ledger accounts, and checking debit balance accounts
  • Producing supplier payment runs for all companies
  • Processing the supplier BACS runs
  • Deal with purchase ledger queries in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Post staff expenses onto purchase ledger and process for payment weekly
  • Assist with administration of project database
  • Any other ad-hoc duties required

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must have previous commercial knowledge and exposure to all aspects of purchase ledger.

You must also be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing in order to effectively resolve issues and build relationships.

Accuracy and attention are critical to this position, as are a strong work ethic and investigative approach.
