Expanding Oil and Gas Private Equity business based in the heart of London.

Job Description

Working in a small Finance and Fund Administration team, your role will be to support the Head of Finance and Management Accountant with invoicing and payments for both onshore and off shore entities.

Duties include:

  • Coding of invoices
  • Expenses
  • Identification of invoices for payment
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Recharges
  • Cash collection and aged debtor analysis
  • Month end, quarter end and annual process review of cash payments
  • Maintain WIP balances and performing analysis on recharges
  • Reconcile WIP budget spend to actual
  • Reconciliation of Fund expense
  • Fixed asset register
  • Ad hoc duties

The Successful Applicant

You will ideally be a graduate with some previous experience (1-3 years) working within a transactional finance role with exposure to either accounts payable or accounts receivable.

The role offers scope for progression and it is anticipated that the Finance Assistant will take on further duties with regards to month end in time.

You may be keen to study for the ACCA or CIMA or have just started this and full study support will be given if so.
