About Our Client

This organisation is made up of 3 business entities, operating across multiple sectors; Travel, Leisure and Media. Due to an increase of workload they are now recruiting a Finance and Office Assistant on a temp2perm basis.

Job Description

As an Finance and Office Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing a bi-weekly payment run
  • Posting supplier invoices on to Quickbooks software
  • Review expenses and post on to Quickbooks
  • Import sales invoices
  • Credit Control - setting up new accounts, negotiating credit limits and monitoring overdue debt
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparing reports for the Finance Manager and Managing Director
  • Assisting office staff with queries and general administration
  • Preparing meeting rooms for internal and external meetings
  • Answering telephone queries and passing on accurate messages where necessary
  • Receiving and checking stock received
  • Ordering office supplies

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for this vacancy, your CV must demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience of working in an Bookkeeping / Office Manager role
  • Advanced excel skills - Vlookups, pivot tables
  • Experience of working on Quickbooks software would be advantageous however not essential
  • Availability: must be able to interview and start immediately (one weeks notice maximum)
