About Our Client

My client is a leading Pharmaceutical company based in Brentford who are actively seeking a Part-Qualified Finance Analyst to join their fast paced finance team.

Job Description

Assisting Trade Fund Analysts responsibilities as below:

  • Responsible for Month-end trade fund accrual process, ensuring the accurate and timely postings in CERPS.
  • Process, reconcile, report and key contact for opening/closing trade fund accrual balances.
  • Responsible for ensuring the month-end file is accurate and complete, and in compliance with the defined processes and controls.
  • Support CBMs and Finance Business Partner to ensure accurate and timely reporting/forecasting.
  • Responsible for both uploading and closing of Trade Activities within the TSM/TCM environment.
  • Work with CBS to ensure clean balance sheet reconciliations including analysis of balances to support regular and timely management of promotions (e.g. ageing analysis of accrual balances & closing/releasing fully completed and invoiced promotions.
  • Support FBPs and CBMS to provide analytical reports and analysis e.g. monthly overspend and releases and ensure accuracy of Customer Profitability Reports.
  • Produce ad-hoc financial analysis as required by Finance team
  • Identify and drive process improvement and alignment with GB
  • Support internal and external PWC audit requirements.

Work across departments as required to build strong working relationships with other teams to support the whole end to end process e.g. Business Service Centre (BSC).

The Successful Applicant

Basic Requirements:

Must be non-comparative, objective and relevant.

  • Part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Financial Control experience required
  • FMCG experience advantageous
  • Awareness of the external control environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of data
  • Proactive, self motivated and ability to manage conflicting priorities and timelines.
  • Highly computer literate and ability to quickly learn and master new systems and processes, particularly SAP (TSM), Excel & BISON.
