Job Description

The Finance Analyst role involves;

The role will facilitate business performance reporting & analysis;


  • Set up and support the preparation of monthly results & financial reporting including commentary and insights on the results or trends
  • Report on and regularly review KPI's and associated key business drivers to monitor performance and where required identify new key business drivers to monitor performance
  • Oversee growth and cost trackers and other reports as appropriate
  • Prepare, analyse, interpret and present monthly, quartlery and annual results including variances to budget, forecast and prior year
  • Any other analysis as required


  • Support the preparation of annual Global budgets and quarterly forecasts to ensure appropriate setting of key objectives and key milestones.
  • Assist in the preparation of Global budget and forecast presentations

Business Partnering & Support

  • Partnering with the Global businesses to produce valuable insights and provide financial information to support decision making
  • Establish relationships with service line and functional leaders to deliver performance reporting support and guidance. Ensure service line and functional leaders are aware of financial forecasts and budget requirements / constraints to effectively manage within these limits
  • Support local business partners in the development of strategic plans and business development proposals
  • Support the strategic reporting requirements of across a variety of project initiatives as required
  • Provide support to a range of Finance and Operational functions across the organisation in peak periods
  • Provide commentary and recommendations across a range of FP&A matters

Reporting Systems & Other

  • Deliver the reporting requirements as required by the business
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required
  • Develop and maintain a register of Global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Develop innovative ways to present information to key stakeholders to facilitate the effective transfer of information
  • Implement a range of system and process efficiency improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the Finance Analyst role will:

  • Be part Qualified, or Finalist level CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CFA
  • have worked in a similar role previously, with strong Business Partnering experience (i.e. regularly providing & presenting Financial information to non-Finance managers)
  • have advanced Excel skills
  • have strong commercial acumen
