About Our Client

Our client is a re-known pharmaceutical company based in Uxbridge.

Job Description

The appointed person has responsibility to:

* Perform general accounting support procedures as required to a high standard of quality and in a timely, efficient manner.

* Ensure accurate posting of financial transactions within accounts of responsibility including journal entries and interfaces

* Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations including cash reconciliations. Research and analyze any unmatched and / or out of balance entries. Monitor ageing and clear open items

* Produce routine reports, schedules, and summaries for BSC ( business service centre) management.

* Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets related to R2R ( record to report)

* Support period end financial closing activities

* Maintain master data

* Maintain and reconcile fixed asset register including fixed asset additions, amendments and disposals, as well as booking depreciation

* Process and resolve differences and exception that arise from transactional processes

* Process & reconcile intercompany transactions ensuring no mismatches at month end

* Perform treasury functions & monitor cash flow forecasts

* Prepare outside auditor schedules to support annual audit and special audit requirements

* Serves as an initial point of contact for market customer queries;

* Take responsibility to follow through on actions to ensure good customer service.

* Resolve any query issues according to defined policies and procedures

*Escalate as necessary any customer issues related to queries to the Team Lead

* Ability to build a good personal relationship with your key supplier contacts

* Work closely with the outsource provider to ensure activities carried out are correct and assist in resolving queries

* The ability to communicate effectively in a business environment in spoken and written Foreign language as required by the scope of your role

* Understand and apply relevant process controls for running finance operations (Compliance & Governance)

* Perform other duties as assigned or requested

The Successful Applicant

* A Levels or equivalent

* Must display a customer service focused attitude

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Displays initiative in solving problems

* Ability to plan and manage workload to ensure all key deadlines are met

* Actively seeks to improve processes making them more effective and efficient

* Proven ability to work as a member of multi-functional teams

* Polish Speaking Preferred but not essential

Preferred requirements:

* Accounting Technician or PQE. Ideally studying for accounting qualification

* Bilingual

* Understanding of local market GAAP
