About Our Client

Major manufacturing business based in Southampton are looking for a well presented Finance Administrator to join their team.

Job Description

Your primary duties as a Finance Administrator will include;

  • Be the professional first point of contact for clients and other visitors
  • Meeting and greeting of all visitors
  • Answer incoming calls (main switchboard) and screen/direct as appropriate
  • Provide information to callers, take and relay messages
  • Ensure knowledge of staff movements and maintain the central calendar
  • Receive and sort incoming post and deliveries
  • Organise meeting room bookings
  • Support the Finance Team with finance administration
  • Process invoices and assist suppliers with queries
  • Ad hoc finance reporting when necessary

The Successful Applicant

  • Candidates must be available to start on the 18th April
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Highly reliable with good organisation and planning skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure
