About Our Client

Client are within the Public Sector and Government, based in South West London

Job Description

As a Facilities Assistant, candidates will be:

  • Responsible for supporting the day to day operations including H&S, Greening Initiatives and various management roles
  • Inputting/collating data as appropriate into relevant tools, e.g. Purchase Orders, processing invoices, KPI's etc
  • Assist with Health and Safety for the office, ensuring all actions, tasks and relevant systems are updated and/or completed
  • Administration/help desk of in house room booking system - ensuring good customer relationships
  • Dealing with queries, providing support to customers in a timely manner
  • Issue work sheets to appropriate contractor checking that all jobs are signed off and chase outstanding jobs
  • Ad Hoc cover for post room/porter

The Successful Applicant

A successful Facilities Assistant will:

  • Have or working towards Level 3 BIFM
  • Trained in Manual Handling
  • Trained DSE Assessor
  • Have to take a security standard regulation check and application
  • Ensure consistent levels of service are provided to the office
  • Establish excellent relationships with key stakeholders within the department
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work effectively with diverse groups of all levels
