About Our Client

The client is a manufacturing organisation based in Slough. The candidate must be happy to work the occasional Saturday (possibly one a month) as required.

Job Description

  • To be responsible for administering the purchase to pay process within facilities, ensuring the process is adhered to and all invoices are processed accurately within SAP. To assist with Budget review as necessary.
  • Act as Fire Warden and First Aider - training will be provided if required
  • Responsible for the administration of DSE (Display Screen Equipment) process. Ensuring all staff are assessed as necessary
  • Responsible for the administration of all post at Head Office
  • To be responsible for stock and equipment control of Tea points and other office supplies as and when required. Ensuring all site equipment is checked daily e.g. vending machines, Zip Taps, microwaves, fridges.
  • To be responsible for ensuring that the photocopiers, fax machines and franking machines at the premises are supplied with of paper, toners and other consumables.
  • Administration of parking permits & car reg. listings with Gatehouse for Stoke Poges based staff
  • In conjunction with Maintenance and Services Asst. Co-ordinating the fire warden, H&S and first aid training as required. Ensuring H&S boards are kept up to date with Warden Listings etc. Responsible for the administration of the Fire Warden and First Aid training process. To ensure company legislative HSE requirement is met.
  • Support the maintenance team with office reorganisations and meeting room set up as required. This will involve some manual work, such as lifting boxes/crates, desk set up access to Plant Room areas etc.
  • Overseeing of, daily contact for site manned Security Guarding.
  • Daily walk round check to include all safety, security, (including fire, intruder alarms, car park and emergency escape routes and doors) and ensure that they are fully functioning at all times.
  • To assist with issue of access control and security passes as necessary.
  • Responsible for logging of all Facilities Helpdesk requests.

The candidate must have:

  • An accessible journey to Slough and the flexibility to work weekends
  • Previous facilities experience
  • A hands on approach and strong administration skills
