An opportunity has now arisen for an Expenses Clerk to join the finance function of the business based in Leeds.

Job Description

The successful Expenses Clerk will be responsible for, but are not limited to: checking and preparing manual expense claims, extracting VAT and checking receipt, liaising with suppliers and staff regarding payment schedules, processing onto the expense accounts payable system, accounts payable and expenses reconciliations, processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payment schedules, record keeping and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations, VAT laws and PSA requirements.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Have some experience processing company expenses - Essential
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills - Essential
  • Demonstrable experience of high volume invoice processing - Desirable
  • Commercially focused with strong Excel - Essential
