Job Description

As a temporary Expenses Clerk you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and checking company expenses - up to 80 company credit cards per month
  • Analysing expense claims to ensure they are in line with company policy
  • Coding and imputing expenses on to Paprika
  • Running 3 BACs payment runs per month
  • Ad hoc time transfers
  • Petty cash and cashflow reporting
  • Reconciling bank accounts and statements
  • Assisting Credit Controller with monthly debt collection (10% of responsibility)
  • Regular liaison with departmental heads and non-Finance staff
  • Query resolution in a timely manor

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for this position your CV must demonstrate previous experience in Expense processing, ideally high volumes.

If you have previously worked within the Media sector then this will add strength to your application.

In addition, if you have worked on the accounting package Paprika this would be highly advantageous.

This is a great opportunity to work with a fast paced and highly successful branding agency in the City of London, while earning a competitive hourly rate (£11-£14 per hour depending on experience).

Initially this assignment will be paid on an hourly rate basis however after 3 months the client will offer a Fixed Term Contract, for the right candidate.

The role of Expenses Clerk requires an immediate start and therefore if your current notice period is any longer than one week, your CV will not be considered.
