SPANISH speaking European HR Coordinator role working for an exciting private business in Oxford which prides themselves in providing high success level training programs.

Job Description

The European HR Coordinator will be responsible for the Human Resources and Personnel function of the business and:

  • Act as a single point of contact for employees and managers in the region (currently around 40 staff)
  • Coordinates employee life cycle activities, from recruitment and selection, performance management to departure activities
  • Creates and coordinates HR projects, using own initiative and as required by the region
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes where necessary
  • Attends management meetings as required to report on HR activities and progress
  • Provides initial advice and support as appropriate in disciplinary, grievance and other such matters (in consultation with Peninsula Business Services for the UK)
  • Assists with the development of appropriate HR policies and standards as per local government legislation
  • Participates in and contributes to professional development programs
  • Provides managers with HR related training and support programs

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma in HR or related field and or CIPD qualification.
  • Spanish language
  • Demonstrated experience in a HR generalist or coordinator standalone role.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct a full review, gap analysis and develop appropriate HR plan to suit business strategy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of UK and Spain employment laws.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and understanding of cross-cultural communication.
  • Demonstrated high level time management and organisation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and change.
  • Demonstrated ability to use judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with HR databases.
  • Must have right to work and live in the UK.
