Job Description

Are you part way through or recently completed a graduate scheme and looking for the next step in your career this could be the opportunity for you? The role of Graduate Shift Manager will be working for within a distribution operation who has a significant presence in both ecommerce and distribution and is growing at a phenomenal rate. This role will have a real impact on how the business develops. As a Graduate calibre shift manager you will drive an environment that delivers exceptional results and a great place to work.

  • Lead, engage and manage teams in delivering superior performance
  • Promote best practice in all areas of responsibility, including to Health and Safety
  • Create a great place to work
  • Facilitate effective communication across the DC's
  • Responsible for team performance reviews, coaching and development and succession planning
  • Hold full responsibility of your area ecommerce, Wholesale, Concession, Store replenishment; including recruitment, influencing/ managing your own budgets.
  • Ownership of major projects including relaying warehousing, store receipt processes, operational changes.
  • Plan strategic changes your area of the business (onboarding new brands, new stores, new revenue streams etc)
  • Plan and deliver Tactical changes to your area of the business including planning for sales, peak periods, including liaising with retailers, buying and merchandisers including heads of departments

The Successful Applicant

As the successful Graduate Shift Manager candidate you will be a strong people manager, passionate about your career and keen to develop into a great leader.

Ideally you will be of degree calibre (a degree is not a prerequisite) and have completed or be part way through a graduate or management training scheme that has given you exposure to multiple different challenges providing you with the fundamentals of being a great leader.

You will lead your team of people to ensure that the Distribution Centre ensures your customer's daily operational requirements are met. You will challenge the way things are done focusing on Health & Safety, productivity and process improvement. You will be focused on developing the people around you to deliver exceptional results. There will be opportunities for ongoing development while learning from experts within the business.

What's on Offer

Salary is experience dependant £30,000 - 35,000. A fantastic benefits package is also on offer.
