About Our Client

My client is dominating the Educational swimming market throughout the UK. Currently they have over 240 employees with a confirmed plan for expansion across the UK. As of this moment we are focusing on Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

Job Description

To overall manage the strategic growth of the business unit within Scotland, ensuring retention is maintained and growth opportunities are recognised.

To manage the regional and overall budget including spend, revenue and income of the business unit.

To be able to interpret and report on key performance indicators for the TSA venues in Scotland.

To effectively manage the performance of the regional teams of Senior Co-ordinator and Regional Co-ordinators to ensure targets are achieved.

To create and develop methods of improving/enhancing the customer journey, by working with CSR team, developing competitions, displays, extra equipment, merchandise, in accordance with budget availability.

To identify and develop business with key leisure providers to create more venues.

To support the online marketing strategy including the website and social media campaigns, ensuring systems and records are kept up to date.

To develop current staff internally supporting and growing the team and business successfully.

Day to day management of the regional teams including annual appraisals and recruitment as and when required.

Any other activities associated with the successful development of the Academies

To develop, coach and mentor other members of the team.

To build and develop relationships with 3rd parties and customers to increase awareness, deliver effective public relations, which in turn will support and enhance the future business proposition.

To effective network with key partners to the business, identifying and building successful links in the industry.

The Successful Applicant

To have the ability to coach and mentor the wider team through national recognised awarding bodies and to support the development of internal training programmes.

To keep an eye on the revenue, spend and income of the business area to ensure control of budgets is maintained.

To have previous experience of developing the team and adopting effective recruitment strategies to ensure a solid team with relevant skills is established

To be able to define and deliver key performance indicators for the business unit and be able to confidently articulate these to others.

To provide confident leadership and decision-making skills for efficient and effective program implementation.

To be able to problem solve, along with ability to prioritise and juggle multiple deadlines to achieve required results while effectively delegating other tasks.

To have confident interpersonal skills in support of working with different partners, local authorities, schools, local organisations, awarding bodies to develop and maintain positive relationships.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience in writing successful proposals/reports.

Experience of leading multiple teams from remote locations.
