About Our Client

My client is a multinational corporation who operates in Brighton.

Job Description

Doing this the Deployment Planner makes sure that stock is distributed throughout the network and available wherever needed to fulfil customer orders and service targets. A good cooperation with the sites, the Logistics Operations Team, the Planning Team and Customer Service is essential to be able to meet the requirements of all departments.

* To deputise for Senior member of the team during holidays and absence.
* To provide deployment for all goods, across the Distribution network
* To create effective relationships with Supply Planning, Logistics Operations, Customer Service and work with system suggestions to ensure that stock is kept to appropriate target levels where available, including manually amending system requirements where necessary.
* To support team priorities and initiatives to ensure workloads are effectively managed
* To develop a daily deployment plan and raise stock transport orders, for shipment lanes in order to ensure that product is moved in time to meet Customer order requirements.
* To support the dispatching and receiving plants in prioritising freight plans to achieve/exceed customer service levels.
* Reliability to ensure a stable deployment process
* Identify inefficiencies within the network
* Drive ideas to optimise processes
* Track KPI's

The Successful Applicant

First background on logistics and supply chain
* Strong numeracy
* Proactive with a strong "can do" attitude
* Consistent demonstration of Culture of Accountability
* Be a good communicator & able to work under pressure
* Be collaborative and flexible
* A second European language would be an asset but not essential
* Ability to build good working relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
* To be self-motivated and able to work independently
* First experience with SAP and/or APO is beneficial but not a must

What's on Offer

A six month role based in Brighton. Working hours will be from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
