A large, specialist organisation based in Leatherhead.

Job Description

SAP knowledge essential, languages preferred (French / German)

Prioritise and manage the customer service team and its workflow to meet operational needs and ensure full systems are in place and managed effectively

Advise and support the Customer Service team as required

Ensure compliance with business operating procedures

Enforce and monitor compliance with legislation and other legislative guidance / restrictions

Manage employee performance in line with company processes, with regular reviews and feedback

Monitor and assist in completion of customer complaints

Cover leave and take an active role in order entry process

Ownership of customer service processes

To comply with all Company policies and procedures including those concerning health and safety.

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrable track record of success in managing a team including use of KPIs to monitor and improve performance
  • Commercial acumen and ability to shape the direction of the team to meet business priorities
  • Good problem solving skills and used to achieving deadlines under pressure
  • Excellent customer care skills with a minimum of two years customer service experience dealing with B2B products
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to manage expectations from different areas of the business
  • Microsoft Office and SAP experience essential
  • Either French or German language preferred
  • Experience of business reporting and also complaint systems and management of credit and debit note procedure
  • Experience of export documentation and knowledge of excisable goods
  • Flexible in approach to work and willing to travel away from home when necessary
