About Our Client

My client is a high end retail company based near Park Royal. They are keen to get someone on board to look after the credit controller/sales ledger clerk position and eventually take on more management accountant duties.

Job Description

This credit controller/sales ledger clerk role will involve the following;

  • Responsibility for Sales Ledger and Credit Control
  • Covering new customer account set-up
  • Receipts posting
  • Proactive credit control in liaison with overseas debt collection agencies and credit insurers

The Successful Applicant


-a strong communicator, with a good telephone manner

-accurate and able to handle detail

-proactive, organised and be able to prioritise their own work

-commercial in approach to financial issues

-calm under pressure

-professional and personable, with a good sense of humour

- be interested towards a further financial qualification - ACCA / CIMA -have a strong desire to progress and really develop their career within finance

-ideally have fashion Industry experience but this is not essential

-have good systems knowledge including Excel

-have demonstrable experience of working in a team and of working in a fast paced environment
