About Our Client

My client is a highly successful property management business based in the City Centre. They have a strong reputation and are now seeking a Credit Controller to join their fast paced and busy team. The company manage properties across the Leicestershire area and require a diligent and organised individual to take ownership of the Credit Control ledger from start to finish.

Job Description

The Credit Control vacancy will include various duties including:

  • Management and ownership of a debtors ledger of over 250 live accounts
  • Responsible for chasing up outstanding debt resulting from missed rent payments and taking payments over the phone, via cash and cheque
  • Monitoring payments due and ensuring relevant administrative processes are put in place to diarise promised payments
  • Liaising extensively with customers and clients to investigate queries and resolve debt issues
  • Issuing relevant notices and debt letters to customers (tenants)
  • Attending court hearings to present agreements and to act as a witness for the business

The Successful Applicant

You will have previous exposure to credit control work ideally within a business to business environment although any previous exposure within Rent Arrears would be a distinct advantage. Candidates who can demonstrate confidence, strong communication and high administration capabilities are encouraged to apply.
