Job Description

The Credit Controller will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of customer accounts, chasing targeted debt on a monthly basis
  • Keeping debtor days to a minimum
  • Contacting customers/debtors and building relationships via telephone and email
  • Managing customer queries and escalating when required
  • Update monthly cash flow forecasts
  • Placing customer accounts on stop as and when required
  • Performing customer credit checks when required
  • Ad hoc accountancy duties as and when required

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must have proven credit control/management experience on a business to business basis. Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail is also essential. Experience of using Sage is advantageous.
