Job Description

  • Liaison with clients by phone and email
  • Preparing letters to be sent via our Open Accounts System
  • Visiting clients
  • Banking
  • Allocation of payments
  • Resolving queries
  • Prioritising workloads to maximise cash collections
  • Dealing with any other credit related matters tasked
  • Dealing with any other matters as tasked by the line management
  • There will be the requirement to attend at our other offices, such as our Head Office, or client's sites when required.
  • This role requires a hands on approach and it is vital to build relationships with our customers and sales teams.
  • The role is credit control with reporting to be actioned at the beginning of the month and where required.
  • Banking has to be done daily and all payments must be applied correctly.

The Successful Applicant

  • Be able to demonstrate a confident demeanour to negotiate with clients, showing good customer service
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Be able to evidence excellent IT skills to a high standard to use Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Have experience working in a similar position, with responsibility for credit control
  • Be able to work effectively with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Have a positive and professional approach, taking satisfaction in reducing debt as part of a team

  • Competitive Salary, paid monthly, with the potential for bonuses, based on performance
  • Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 hours
