About Our Client

My client based on Birmingham Business Park/Solihull is looking for a Credit Controller to join their small but busy team.

Job Description

  • Log debit notes for price queries, short deliveries and penalties onto a master spreadsheet
  • Use SAP to find information on customer invoices
  • Scan vendor invoices onto SAP
  • Check spreadsheets and SAP to determine which debit notes and vendor invoices are missing
  • Contact customers to request missing copies
  • Work with customer services to determine validity of short deliveries using PODs and other information
  • Work with our logistics provider and customer services to determine validity of penalty claims
  • Dispute invalid claims with customers and raise credit note requests for valid claims
  • Check Tesco PODs online to identify any over deliveries and raise debit requests

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous role as Credit Controller
  • Previous role in an FMCG business desirable
  • Complaints handling experience
  • Good excel skills
  • SAP experience preferable
  • A good telephone manner
