About Our Client

Our client are a large retail brand with a team of 4 in finance.

They are looking for a credit controller who is happy to do 40% accounts assistant duties. They are happy to consider candidates that will look to study AAT, or have studied AAT.

They are mainly looking for someone who is interesting in learning the wider accounts assistant duties, in order to become an accounts receivable assistant.

Job Description

This role, Credit Controller from Retail, involves:

- Chasing debt via phone and email

- Dealing with manufacturers and suppliers

- Dealing with large retail stores such as Harrods and John Lewis

- Invoices ranging up to £16,000

- Working on SAP

- Cash allocation on SAP

- Bank reconciliations

- Sending out invoices

- Dealing with damaged goods or faulty items

- Processing refunds

- Visiting clients face to face

- Working on Excel to a VLookUp level

- Permanent role

- Working hours are 9 - 5:£0

- Accountancy sector

- City of London

The Successful Applicant

The candidate we are looking for must have come from a credit control background. However the candidate must be happy to enter into some accounts receivable duties and accounts assistant duties.

The candidate must be happy to commute to the City of London and be happy with a maximum salary of £28,000. This salary is dependent on experience and skill level.
